Southside Performing Arts Center (“Southside”, “we” or “us”), a global entertainment company engaged in the business of conducting events related to music, dance, photography, acting, designing and film-making (“Services”) are firmly committed to protecting your privacy. You should understand what we do with data relating to you (“personal information”) which we collect when you visit our mobile application and/or the website, (the “Platform”) and how we use and disclose the information. We are committed to complying with all data protection laws as are applicable to us. The data controller for personal information collected from a visitor to the Platform is Southside Performing Arts Center.

We may combine personal information we receive from you with personal information we obtain from other sources, such as data providers; business partners, such as joint marketing partners and event or contest co-sponsors; and other public sources, such as our social media platforms.

    Data collected automatically. We, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically log the following information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your activity over time on the Site and other online services:

    • Device data, such as your computer or mobile device operating system type and version number, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, IP address, unique identifiers, and general location information such as city or town.

    • Precise geolocation data, such as when you authorize our App to access your location.

    Some of our automatic collection is facilitated by:

    • Cookies, which are text files stored on a visitor‘s device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser for the purpose of helping you navigate between pages efficiently and remembering your preferences, enabling functionality, helping us understand user activity and patterns, facilitating online advertising and measuring the effectiveness of our ads.

    • Javascript libraries, which are snippets of code within web pages that execute when certain actions take place.

    • Web beacons, also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs, which are typically used to demonstrate that a webpage or email was accessed or opened, or that certain content within it was viewed or clicked, typically to compile statistics about usage of websites and the success of marketing campaigns.

    • Software development kits, or SDKs, which are used to incorporate third-party computer code into our App that allows our third-party service providers to collect data directly from it for a variety of purposes, including to provide us with analytics regarding the use of the App, to integrate with social media, add features or functionality to our App, or to facilitate online advertising.


  • Sensitive personal information. We ask that you not share with us any sensitive personal information (e.g., social security numbers, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, biometrics or genetic characteristics, criminal background or union membership) on or through the Service or otherwise. If you do anyway, you must consent to our processing and use of such sensitive personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  • Device and location Information: The Platform automatically collects certain technical information relating to the device you use to visit the Platform. Specifically, we use cookies and similar technologies to help us understand your activity on the Platform. Southside implements appropriate security measures designed to prevent unlawful or unauthorized processing of personal information and accidental loss of or damage to personal information. The data collected via our Platform is stored in a secure server with our ISP who will take periodic backups of such data.


The Platform are not intentionally targeted to, or intended for, children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data relating to children.


Accessing of Personal data

If you would like request information about your personal data which we have collected, or inquire about the manner in which your personal data may have been used or disclosed by us within the past year, please contact us. In order to facilitate processing of your request, we may need to ask for further information relating to your request.


  1. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for retrieving your personal data records. If so, we will inform you of the fee before processing your request.


  1. We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible. Should we not be able to respond to your request within thirty (30) days from the date of your request, we will inform you in writing.
